Onion Casserole

 

 

6 large Vidalia onions

½ pound Swiss cheese, grated

1 can cream of chicken soup

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

3 slices bread, crust removed and quartered

 

 

·         Slice onions. Brown in butter until soft. Put in a 9 x 12 casserole dish

 

·         Make sauce of cream of chicken soup, milk, soy sauce, cheese. Heat until blended and pour over onions.

 

·         Top with quartered bread slices which have been skillet fried in butter.

 

·         Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes.
